recognizing winetricks

[Groundberd]

protontricks cannot recognize winetricks despit having the correct file in its directory. this happens when trying to run protontricks.

It gives the following error message:

Winetricks isn't installed, please install winetricks in order to use this script!

1. Run command protontricks foo bar
2. Command fails and error is displayed
   F: Not sharing "/usr/bin/winetricks" with sandbox: Path "/usr" is reserved by Flatpak
   F: Not sharing "/usr/bin" with sandbox: Path "/usr" is reserved by Flatpak
   usage: protontricks [-h] [--verbose] [--no-term] [-s SEARCH [SEARCH ...]] [-l] [-c COMMAND] [--gui] [--no-runtime]
   [--no-bwrap] [--background-wineserver] [--no-background-wineserver] [--cwd-app] [-V]
   [appid] ...

Expected behavior
protontricks to give a selection of available games to process.

System (please complete the following information):

• Distro: Ubuntu 24.10, gnome version 47
• Protontricks installation method: Flatpak
• Protontricks version: 1.12.0
• Steam version: no beta chosen, compatibility version proton 9.0-4

Additional context
wine and winetricks have been downloaded, and they are found in /usr/bin/winetricks.

Flatseal has also been downloaded, and permissions to usr, bin, and winetricks directories have been given directly, along with access to all system and user files, and all libraries and executables.
