Do you allow developers to package (include) any of the MassiveCraft plugins (including MassiveCore) with their plugins when they make it a hard dependency? Is there a page that they should refer to when doing so? I'm not doing it, but I have become aware that someone else has.

Thanks,
Steve

If you were to do this your project would be under the GPL license, you should use it as a library.

not sure what that means, but in any case the developer has removed it from his jar file that was being distributed with his plugin. What I couldn't find easily is any page or disclaimer that specifically states "you are not allowed to distribute or package any MassiveCraft plugin along with your own".

To me, that's giving a false impression, that any plugin included it with someone else's is wrong in many levels. Even if open source, it's a deceiving practice IMO especially when credit is not given to the original developer(s).

I say you should but it is fine not to. It would be under a GPL license if not
