how to load local images as screenshot

Hello, i use ps5reborn theme and it support screenshots visualizer, if i set it up trough steam in the links section of the game, they show up, but they lag a lot, and i know you can select a folder for a specific game with images inside and use those picture as screenshots in the theem, but they dont show up for me. someone please help
