For some large events we will have someone stream monitoring. I think it would be a prudent idea to have a page which a stream monitor can use, it could contain a list of buttons which contain common faults, such "Black Video", "No Audio", "Delay" e.c.t these can then be displayed to the end user through la1tv's video player message system.

Maybe an extra message below the player that displays a generated message like
"We are aware of current audio issues and are working on it." ?

Yeah the list I gave was for the buttons, on the site there can be a longer message associated with it.

The buttons could be added to the live stream preview page in the cms
