Trouble with running code on a mac. We've isolated the bug to drawChar() function, and I suspect that it has something to do with how macs handle/load fonts.

Need to investigate solutions and test them on a mac.

Just had an idea for a work-around. Wondering if there s a way to convert to another format after loading the font, into one that can be drawn without the issues of missing libs on a mac.

Pillow is also an option, but this might be a simpler solution. If it's possible. Might even improve resolution for prints.
