Device name: Pixel 7 Pro
Rom name: Stock
Android version: 14 (June 2024)
Pixelify version: 3.0

Bug Description: shortly after installing, "Now Playing" works, but then it appears to be lost shortly after. I have a shortcut to access the history on my home screen and it changed to "App not installed", and the lock screen listener goes away too.

I suspect the root cause of this is "Android System Intelligence" auto updating, but contrary to the instructions, there is not an option in the play store to prevent it from doing so (unless there is an alternate method I have not found). I was able to find the app store listing from settings->apps (it does not readily come up in the play store search), but then the option to uncheck the box in the three-dot menu (which I used for the photos app), is simply not there.

I have experienced this twice, after uninstalling pixelify and updating the phone to a new monthly firmware, and then reinstalling pixelify, both the main module and the standalone for Now Playing, it was working normally for a bit, but a day later it is broken again.

same here. not the first time Now Playing has disappeared on my Pixel 6 Pro.

I use the Pixelify module only for the unlimited storage and set everything else to not install. The previous time Now Playing stopped working on my phone, I realized it was related to the Android System Intelligence. I simply uninstalled (updates) and updated it via Play Store again and got it working. However, this time round, doing the same did not fix anything.

I noticed that Android System Intelligence was also not updated when I went to view the app on Play Store (all apps > searched for ASI > view on Play Store).

Also on June firmware. Using APatch with Zygisk Next

Here the same issues on a Pixel 8. I discovered a day after installing Pixelify (only for the unlimited storage) that Now Playing isn't working at all. Android System Intelligence keeps crashing after disable/enable Now Playing on the phone. After unistalling Pixelify everythins works as it should.
