Problem
Updated OmniMidi from 14.6.6 to 14.8.5, reverb is noticeably much more intense than before, especially in drums

Steps to reproduce

  1. Compare sound from 14.6.6 to 14.8.5
  2. Play any midi especially with drums

Expected behavior
A quieter amount of reverb

Screenshots/Videos

(Stereo effect was applied to organ but is not part of the issue)

Example 2:

(Expected output uses sound from Foobar's bassmidi, however OmniMidi's sound used to sound like the Foobar example)

Environment

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-10750H
  • RAM: 16GB
  • MIDI application: -
  • Version of the driver: 14.8.5

Additional context
I have tried changing the linear attack/decay settings in the configurator as shown in another similar issue, however this only fixed a different issue, with the reverb still being too strong.

I believe this is because BASSMIDI was updated to have reverb and chorus levels closer to the Roland Sound Canvas and Yamaha XG devices. It would be nice if OmniMIDI allowed the changing of reverb/chorus type and level. In BassMidi VSTi, I can select from different reverb and chorus types. For example, I find "Chorus 3" to be much more pleasant than the default "Chorus 1". I also can lower the reverb and chorus levels, which I set to 60 and 43 respectively from their default of 64.
