Would it be possible to trigger the save from my favorite browser on desktop.
Scenario:
I am at the office viewing webpages band I want to save these pages for later viewing
I click on "save-for-offline" Chrome extension (for instance) which triggers the download on my mobile (I am at the office, supposedly I have WiFi on my mobile).
During my commute, I can read the pages in offline mode on my mobile
The following day, back at the office, the Chrome extension allows me to retrieve the document (possibly at the point where I stopped reading...) on my desktop browser
I think the Christmas list ends here. ;)

It's quite a lot of work - it probably would require setting up a server for communication between the app and the desktop component / chrome extension, writing the chrome extension itself, setting up push messaging, and so on.
It's would be a lot of work, which I don't have time for ATM, Sorry :-(
There's other apps which do this though, such as Pocket.
