Decrease size of elements to reduce scrolling

From PH: I also noticed that using the website requires a considerable amount of scrolling. I guess that happens because the text and graphical elements are rather large. I do think that larger elements can improve accessibility (being easier to read), but I wonder if the site might be a bit easier to use if the elements were a bit smaller. Or maybe the framework you are using makes it easy to give the user a switch for choosing between smaller and larger elements?
