I moved a 'Proposed' Gov Action onto the chain for voting. After I had moved it, or 'submitted it for a vote', GovTool directed me to "Go to Dashboard", however, when I clicked the link, I went back to the main Proposals area.
There are multiple problems here:
The button tells me to go to the Dashboard, but takes me to the Proposals area, so it's mislabelled
When I go back to the Proposals area, I can't find my newly-submitted Action, it has moved to another section, called "Governance Actions"
I do not think that users will know where their newly-chained Action has ended up vis-a-vis govtool, but I looked for it in the Governance Actions tab (as I know the dark secrets of GovTool) However, I could not find it without messing with scrolling the screen, and using the filters.
When I submitted the Action to the Voting stage, it had my user name, when I found it eventyally under the Governace Actions tab, the username was missing. It should always have this username, so I can recognise it's mine, and in general, things shouldn't lose information as they progress through a system.
This is a multi-part problem, stemming from the fact that the Proposals part of GovTool was designed as a standalone app, and has not been integrated properly to GovTool. Also this issue points out poor default display of Governance Actions on the GA homepage, where a user can't find their most-recently created action without a lot of work.
Steps to reproduce
Create a proposed Action
Submit it to vote
Click "Go to Dashboard"
Actual behavior
After clicking "Go to Dashboard", the user is taken to the Proposals page
Expected behavior
User should be taken to somewhere where they can see their Action, and vote on it.
