May also consider creating a series of related tutorials based on the creation of this project. The idea was for it to be one large live example but breaking it into smaller bits. Especially for some of the non-Steam stuff like custom music players. |

Skillet is a delicious arena battler where everything is flammable and bouncy. You cannot directly attack anyone but you can definitely nudge someone into harm's way. Survive against friends and foes in four game modes from the comfort of your own kitchen.
Built as an open-source game in Godot Engine, Skillet is completely customizable by the community and uses Steam Workshop to easily share modifications. You can read more about it on the website.
The kitchen is your playground. Be the last player standing in one of four game modes:
Trial By Fire
Avoid being ignited by various hazards while knocking friends into said hazards. Accidentally.
Hot Potato
The floor is lava. Well, boiling hot oil. Jump for every melting platform you can while you can.
Pass The Torch
The Match is "it" and coming for you. Get tagged to become yet another Match, spreading the flames.
Fire-Water-Sponge
Fire burns sponge, sponge absorbs water, water douses fire. You get how this works.
Unlock and trade a variety of skins and cosmetics with friends; even get some for just having Godot Engine in your Steam library or owning other Godot-made games like Brotato, Chillquarium, District Panic,Drift, Lila's Sky Ark, Resolutiion, Satryn Deluxe, Virtual Cottage, WindowKil, and more.
You can also create your own skins and cosmetics then upload them to Steam Workshop to share with friends. Download templates from Skillet's asset repository on Github.
No matter how fancy your skins or cosmetics, in the end, it's all ash anyway.
