how will score increase based on no of pr or no of merged pr

Every PR one point
Level1: 10 points
Level2: 25 points
Level3: 45 points
Levels are classified by difficulty level which is calculated by core team. Also labels will be mentioned on each review And Leaderboard will update twice a day automatically

how many PRs should be merged in to maintain positions on the leaderboard?
Ans: its not above PR, the best way to mainitain position on leaderboard is contribute to high difficult issue raised by mainitainer. As mentioned above Level 1, level 2, level 3 helps them to mainitain their position rather pushing many PR as the score is high for levels

The Leaderboard will be opened from 30th of this month and it will be updated Twice a week. here is the link were you can check the leaderboard score from 30th May

The score will be increase based on the number of Merged PRs.

PRs which are not merged are not taken into count by GSSoC's Backend.

Remember you also need to verify the required labels for PR, because the points are determined from labels of Merged PRs.

Every contribution needs gssoc label with individual level labels like

• level1: 10 points
• level2: 25 points
• level3: 45 points

Some repositories will have labels like Gssoc24 or Gssoc'24 these both or wrong, if you find anything like them then please Raise a Ticket on GSSoC's Discord Server.

The score will increase based on how many of your PRs get merged.
To boost your score, it is suggested that you focus on the level of issues you solve and not on the number of issues.
Issues with different levels are assigned points accordingly.
Level1: 10 points
Level2: 25 points
Level3: 45 points

Hii @Hemav009 , Focus on contributing to high-difficulty issues as the project maintainers define them in order to maintain a good position on the leaderboard.
Each PR is assigned a level of difficulty:
Level 1 (10 points)
Level 2 (25 points)
Level 3 (45 points).
Your score will increase based on the number of merged PRs and their respective levels. Ensure your PRs have the correct labels to earn the appropriate points. The leaderboard will be updated twice a day automatically. For more details, you can check the leaderboard from the 30th of this month
