Stockholm files in particular can display some 'sequence annotations' (sequence consensus and secondary structure lines here are examples https://github.com/GMOD/react-msaview/blob/main/docs/media/image20.png)

This feature was implemented early on but got lost in some refactoring (intentionally, it was a hard part of the code to maintain)
