I agree that it's a good idea to go through the chapters sequentially. However, whenever I wanted to check something in a specific chapter, I kept clicking on the main link at the top of each page to get to the table of contents. From there I would navigate to specific chapters.
You can always use the search, of course, but I think it would be nice to have a more convenient way to browse the content of the guide and jump to specific chapters.

I was thinking this could be a dropdown in the top-right corner, next to the search, to keep the minimal look.
Maybe there's even a way to combine the two. A hamburger menu that shows a search box and the list of chapters. If you start searching, the list of chapters gets replaced with results....?
