Flashing the Firmware Unscrew and open the enclosure. Press and hold BOOT switch on the adapter board. Connect the internal USB-C port to a computer using USB-C cable. New drive labeled RPI-RP2 will appear. You can release the BOOT switch now. Copy desired firmware (.uf2 file) to the drive. The firmware is now flashed onto the adapter. You can disconnect the cable and put the enclosure back together.
