Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Download a song and save as Music/song.mp3
  2. Make sure the song title is "song"(metadata)
  3. Open the Music Player app
  4. Go to the folder tab
  5. Check the Album art of the song
  6. Now download another, different song but replace the previous file by saving as Music/song.mp3
  7. Make sure the song title is "song"(metadata)
  8. Open the Music Player app
  9. Click on the three dot menu icon
  10. Click 'Rescan Media'
  11. Open the folder view tab again
  12. Find the song again and check the album art
  13. The album art should now be the art of the new song, but instead it shows the old album art of the original mp3

Expected behavior

Album art of the song changes to the new song's art

Actual behavior

Album art stays the same even after changing the song

Additional information

I use fossify music player. I replaced a file that has album art with one that has a different one. The old album art still shows. I have rescanned media multiple times, and also delete .thumbnails and cleared cache and data for the app. I have also restarted my phone. It still hasnt gone away. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. Other music players update fine
