Swap left/right channel for device(s)

Not sure if this is feasible, I've seen it in various device software, none of which I ever owned!

I am forced to have my left speakers on the right side of my desk, and vice versa, due to cable lengths and placement of my desktop box, etc. Could we have the ability to swap the left and right channels (and related other channels, eg front L/R channels, rear L/R channels, etc.), ideally for individual devices rather than all the devices (so that headphones can be different than speakers).
