After deleting a reply(this is related to #56), if the admin wants to restore the reply they could restore only the reply part, not the related comments. The comments seem to be lost forever.

There is no option to restore the reply. Once you deleted the answer, the comments which related to that answer will be deleted forever.

If the discussion is long on the comments, then restoring all the comments make sense.
Can we store the comments as well in the DB and restore whenever possible?

Comments already stored in DB with relation to answer, if you delete the question, all answer and comments will be deleted from DB and if you only delete the answer, all the comment related to that answer will be deleted from DB, and if we don't have the answer or question then there is no point to restore the comment because we cant relate them with the question or answer.
