Not relevant for APM but for EM but not implemented as of now as having the plugins for pynxtools created and working in nomad were the initial steps, currently em example postfix zip archives as a workaround but that should not replace a proper solution

The issue is solved currently only with above-mentioned workaround, having it or not though is mainly an UI experience issue, therefore, therefore should be closed and reopened for a thorough revisiting of the in NOMAD GUI v2.

  • Make uncompressing of zips optional but set to default for typical deployments
  • Add button in the GUI to do so
  • API call can support uploads of uncompressed content
