Bold relevant features #50
Comments
Hello @jloewenstein, I think that is an excellent idea. Say we are creating an exercise with the ETCBC4 database, about words that have masculine suffix genders: Then in the Features Tab, we would bolden the Suffix Gender feature: Have I successfully understood your view of this enhancement? |
Yes:) |
Great idea Jochanan, this will help teachers a little in what is meaningful to select. We are aware that the feature selection menu is overwhelming, especially to new users... |
@tmccormack165 You can start implementing this improvement. I think you can use straightforward string matching with the Feature words that are used internally (they should be the same), so not the translation from the interface under the Feature tab. @jloewenstein I think that we can make them even a little more prominent than just using bold. Maybe also a different color of the row so they really stand out from the others. |
Amazing! |
Just an idea, not an issue.
Maybe based on the selection, the matching features can be bolded.
For example, selecting a suffix gender in the sentence selection, will highlight or bold that item in the features list.
