Hello Eugeny,

I also suffer from this issue. For me, it happens when I close tab. It doesn't happen always, but very often.

Here is screenshot how it ends:

Devtools here:

  • the xterm resize is always there even if it closes tab properly, so I don' know if it is relevant

The only solution after this is to close Terminus through task manager, nothing else helps, it's completely frozen.

Platform: Windows 10 x64
Plugins: Hype (my own updated version)

Thank you, Sicco

Few new observations from me:

The main reason why this happens (at least for me) is secondary graphic card on my laptop, as suggested here #657 (comment) I've forced my laptop to run Terminus only on internal graphic card and almost all freezes were gone.

The remaining freezes was caused by using WSL as default shell, when I changed my default shell to simple cmd then all the freezing was gone.

Hope this helps someone, thanks Eugeny for you great work 👏
