From Robby - One suggestion...every effort should be made to link to WCODP data layers and web services to the "authoritative source" and not a redirect from another portal. Case in point, both the NOAA RNC (should be spelled out) and the Medium Scale (1:80K) Shoreline are both NOAA products that are served up from NOAA web sites, data portals, and web servers. Not sure that obvious when searching for them. Also, are there tags associated with the data sets that can be used when in a search or discovery mode? BTW... I took the liberty to update the metadata lite template (see below) for the two NOAA products we built, maintain and serve up from our web server. Might be good to revisit this issue, especially for fed data, so folks who access the fed data and who have questions can connect to the origin of the "source" and not to whoever is hosting or redirecting the data or web services from their site. Otherwise looks good. Talk soon.
