In our database, there are some fields of Doctrine type 'ascii_string'.
They are ignored in searches.
I believe that the problem is in src/Orm/EntityRepository inside the private method getSearchablePropertiesConfig() .
Line 294 is
$isTextProperty = \in_array($propertyDataType, ['string', 'text', 'citext', 'array', 'simple_array'], true);
but I think that it should be:
$isTextProperty = \in_array($propertyDataType, ['string', 'text', 'citext', 'array', 'simple_array', 'ascii_string'], true);
