@ESMValGroup/esmvaltool-developmentteam Would anyone have suggestions for highlights for the v2.10 changelog? We're planning to make the release today. Here is an example of what that looked like for v2.9.

It's probably a bit difficult to figure out what is in which release at this point, but those will go into v2.11. I hope the process will go a lot smoother next release..

Update on the release: ESMValCore v2.10.0 has been released and we're planning to make the ESMValTool release tomorrow.

Great work with the 2.10.0 release!
I just noticed that https://esmvaltool.dkrz.de/shared/esmvaltool/stable_release/ has not been updated since v2.9.0. Any reason why this is not pointing to the v2.10.0 output?

We are working on our data management plan for our ESMValTool Data Pool at NCI and the data team as flagged that there is no DOI, nor Zenodo record for ESMValTool 2.10. Would it be possible to fix that? They are asking for citation information and want a DOI...@valeriupredoi?

There was a mistake when publishing v2.10, if I remember correctly, the version number was not updated in CITATION.cff, that is why it looks like there are two v2.9 releases on Zenodo. I still need to ask Mattia to give us the ownership of the Zenodo records so we can correct that.
