Version: 1.0.0.0

Platform: Laser Printer

Description: When attempting output from DaveCad to a laser printer, the result does not match the selected output resulting in something resembling a flower or flap wheel..

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Load any of the available output formats into MS Paint.
  2. Load post-it media into printer paper tray (~20 sheets)
  3. Select menu File -> Print.
  4. Select number of desired items and confirm.

Expected results:

  • Legible copies of the selected output format.
  • Serial operation.

Observed results

  • Output copies are distorted and ilegible.
  • Parallel output
  • Printer may report "Paper Jam" error.

Workaround:

  • Acquire a single A4 sheet of paper.
  • Remove individual Post-It notes from the stack and apply in a grid array to the paper.
  • Ensure each Post-It note is correctly orientated with "sticky" edge up.
  • Perform steps 1 to 4 as above, but with the additional step of copying and pasting the input into a rectangular array to match the output medium as step 1.1.
