Describe the bug
Auto update apps doesn't work in the background sometimes. Regarding the logs, the service is crashing.
The bug occurs since v0.6.4.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Settings in Droid-ify
  2. Set "Sync repositories automatically" to "Only on Wi-Fi"
  3. Enable "Auto update apps"
  4. Enable "Notify for updates"
  5. Wait some days for new updates
  6. Notification is displayed, but the updates didn't get updated (still after some hours)

Expected behavior
The updates should be automatically installed in the background.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Pixel 8
  • OS: Android 15 (GrapheneOS)
  • Version v0.6.4

Additional context

@Iamlooker are there any news regarding this bug?

It looks like this bug only occurs if the app syncs the repo in the background and tries to install the updates afterward.
If I have opened the app and syncing the repos via the button, the update installation will work afterward automatically.

Nope, seems like I will need to update the whole sync and download process. Which I was already doing slowly, but will need to speed up I guess
