I have one of the original boards (Newtech Model 68 rev. B) and I was curious about the out-of-order bits issue speculated about on Robin Grosset's video - https://youtu.be/TBFA2xbCjZ4. I took a close look at my original board and the bits are definitely not out of order. The circuit does look identical to this eagle project, except that pins 2 and 7 of the 74LS174 are backwards. I am guessing that this was done inadvertently between your initial run and the cleanup for posting on github. If you would like photos of the board I can provide some.

That should do it I'm pretty sure, yes.
I don't have the schematic or any original documentation unfortunately, other than parts of the info found here that apply to the model 68: https://deramp.com/downloads/mfe_archive/010-S100%20Computers%20and%20Boards/01-Newtech/

I'd really love to find some of the original demo software if you happen to have that

I was able to eventually find a copy of the original manual, with schematic: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1L9OZGMjd-Gc5yqgdS62v-sdTVMEDbmx2/view?usp=sharing

Do you have an original schematic? I am not sure where I picked up the schematic when doing my board but now I can’t find it on-line. Swapping pins 2 and 7 seems wrong as 2 is an input while 7 is an output. Bob

I somehow didn't notice your last sentence here before. The pins 2 and 7 I am referring to are both outputs, they are Q1 and Q3 of the 74LS174.
In the pdf I just linked to (and on my actual board), pin 2 of the 174 goes to pin 14 of the 4050, and pin 7 of the 174 goes to pin 9 of the 4050.
