bind with static getter used to work..

I upgraded to .net 9 / latest macos etc. Part of that effort included updated communitytoolkit.maui and maui.markup to the latest code. The following code:

    return new Label().Bind(Label.TextProperty,
               static (ElectricityBillViewModel vm) => vm.ElectricityBill.TotalCharges, stringFormat: "{0:C}")
            .FontSize(20.0).Bold().Start();

used to work fine. Now it results in (in ios simulator):

I tried to revert markup to the previous version and it seemed to do the same thing, so its possible iv'e been through more than one update before trying it last, but as I said - it worked fine previously. Does anyone know what might have changed here? Bug, or deliberate change?

We have not yet released .NET 9 support
