Divergence between Android and Linux Workflow

Hi, thank you for this repository and it's clear instructions. I have one question...

When setting up my Linux desktop experience, it felt really smart to find out about the pre-commit and post-commit git hooks... everything worked fine.

Then when I set up Android I was a bit disappointed by the need of manually pulling and pushing via the widgets... is there any reason why the same workflow cannot happen in the Android app?
