<li class="fragment">If a vector only contains logicals and numbers, <strong>R</strong> will convert the logicals to numbers; every <code>TRUE</code> becomes a <code>1</code>, and every <code>FALSE</code> becomes a <code>0</code>.</li>
<li class="fragment"><code>NA</code>s are never coerced automatically.</li>
