When displaying reverse dependencies, it would be very cool if you could display the total number of dependent dists (direct and indirect). Furthemore, when displaying the reverse deps page, for example:
This was prompted by thinking Module-Path had just 8 dependent dists. Today I generate the full dependency graph for all dists, and discovered that in fact 3766 dists are ultimately dependent on it, as 2 hops away I found Dist::Zilla!
Showing this number might make people realise how many dists they might break if they upload a broken version of their dist.
Hi,
When displaying reverse dependencies, it would be very cool if you could display the total number of dependent dists (direct and indirect). Furthemore, when displaying the reverse deps page, for example:
https://metacpan.org/requires/distribution/Module-Path?sort=[[2,1]]
You could display the total # deps for each module in this table, so you can see where your dependencies are coming from, and then "drill in".
