Our data is stored in Azure SQL databases and Storage Accounts, which are by default geographically redundant setup, so if one datacenter is not available, another datacenter will take over and provide the same data.

However, there is a requirement to have the data also offline available as a backup.

What format do we want to have the backup available in? Blob storage contents can be zipped and sent to some other storage service, but what about SQL data?
Does the backup-data need to be human-readable? Or is it sufficient that the backup can be used to restore the data to a new HaSpMan instance?
