Are the many controls in Minimalist Media Player easy to learn?

There are approximately 100 different keyboard and mouse operations in Minimalist Media Player and I'm just about to add a load more.

Is the Ctrl-[H] Help panel, as it currently is, enough to gradually learn all the controls? I learned them all gradually as I was programming MMP and as I added more functions I learned the keys that action them. For a new user, is it just as straight-forward?

How could MMP be more helpful in assisting you, the user, to learn all the many keyboard options?

I'm considering redesigning how MMP shows all the many possible controls the user can use for manipulating audio/video/image files and for editing the audio and video files. I already have some tentative ideas about how this could be done, but I could do with some feedback from users about how you would like it to work.
