Footprint Analytics is a data platform blending web2 and web3 data with abstractions. We help analysts, builders, and investors turn blockchain data into insights with accessible visualization tools and a powerful multi-chain API across 20+ chains for NFTs, GameFi, and DeFi.

Our initiative is to parse the raw data and abstract structured data of the Neo and providing infrastructure tools for the ecosystem, such as APIs, APP Directory, and user growth tools.

Proposal Information

Description

This proposal aims to support the development of the eco-system by indexing and parsing Neo blockchain data, and enabling the community and developers to use Neo blockchain data easily and efficiently through easy-to-use tools such as APIs and visualization analysis tools.

Motivation

2 years ago, we aimed to become a blockchain data visualization analysis tools for analysts. We built the first no-coding analytics tool for cross-chain analysis, covering more than 27 chains.

After engaging with numerous industry project builders, we noticed analysts, developers, and operators need more efficient data utilization tools. Different teams within the same project are using multiple tools simultaneously, resulting in redundant and inefficient data work:

• Development: The Graph, Moralis

• Operations: Dune Analytics

• Marketing: Other growth tools

There needs to be more professional providers in the industry for such solutions, which presents an opportunity for Footprint Analytics. Building upon the Footprint data platform, Footprint has outgrown data analytics to a one-stop solution provider for on-chain data. Fusing data across multiple scenarios is one of Footprint's core competitive advantages.

The data platform includes BI tools and offers multiple API output options to meet different departments' and scenarios' data utilisation needs.

We want to provide professional data support for projects in the Neo ecosystem. However, the data on the chain is complex and plentiful, and accomplishing this work is undoubtedly a very large investment in terms of both time and manpower, so we are seeking funding support.

Goals

The main goals are

1. Help the developers to build their Dapps more easily: We can provide structured data and data solutions(such as data analytics and data APIs) for all the developers. 
   1. We can help the projects which have launched on Neo know their projects better based on data analytics, and even help to grow their users. 
   2. And we can attract more developers to build on Neo through Data Hackathon or Analyst Bounty Event.
2. Help Neo to understand and monitor your ecosystem development: We can provide Data on user and developer participation, number of users, activity level, etc. This is good for discovering potential projects, monitoring the condition of the ecosystem, and providing support and backing for the developers of the ecosystem. And we can provide the comparison between the Neo ecosystem and other chains to understand the situation of competing chains.
3. Help to increase the brand awareness of Neo: With dashboards and research reports, we can spread the word around about Neo's progress. We have more than 50+ media channels with 500k exposure.

Deliverables Verifiability

How would the community be able to verify that the promised deliverables (or milestones) were successfully achieved?

There are multiple ways for the community to verify:

1. All data tables will be provided and displayed on Footprint's website and can be used by community via SQL queries or in a codeless form. 
2. To ensure seamless data visualization, we will provide a dedicated dashboard for each phase, enabling the community to effortlessly grasp the information. Moreover, we will make these dashboards readily available on our official website and across various social media platforms, guaranteeing easy access for the community anytime they desire. Additionally, we are open to embedding the dashboard on Neo's official website and within the community to enhance accessibility.
3. As we progress through each stage, we will deliver practical and user-friendly API interfaces that can be readily integrated and tested by the community developers. This will empower them to leverage the provided APIs for their respective projects.

  • DevOps Engineer - 100 hours - $5,000
  • Big Data Engineer - 300 hours - $24,000
  • Full Node - 12 months - $4,000
  • Maintenance Costs - 12 months - $7,000
  • Storage and Computing - 12 months - $10,000

• The funds will be invested in development and the maintenance and storage of the data. Our commitment extends beyond short-term efforts; we are dedicated to providing long-term support for the Neo ecosystem's on-chain data and projects.
