Feature request : Delay carbs been consider in bolus calculator

To facilitate the management of pre-bolus, it would be nice if delay carb (ex : +15 min.) been considered as now for the bolus calculator. After save with bolus button been pressed, carbs could be move at the desired time entered in the previous screen.

Yes, for sure.

It's normal that future carbs are not considered in the bolus calculator. However, when you have just entered carbs in the meal page, it make sense to include them in the next page, the bolus page, when it is open automatically. The way I was thinking about it is that meal entry should be consider as eated now when you are passing from the meal to the bolus page. Then, after save with or without bolus, this entry meal shout be deleted and a new one, with the delay desired, should be created.

The goal is to permit people that required pre-bolus of 15 minutes to make as realistic as they need with no COB countdown started.

This is not a critical feature, but seam logical.

If I’m understanding you correctly, this could be implemented with for instance a button “include future carbs” in the bolus View recommendation. This way no entries need to be deleted and recreated.

A tick box could be used for those who which to include future carbs in the recommendation.

That's make more sense, yes. Could be good to get for people who really need a fifteen minutes pre bolus.
