ShowingDropDownEvent missfired in iPad #299

I have a few ChosenListBox/es that handle the ShowingDropDownEvent and do something when it gets fired. I've found that on iPads only so far (I've tested desktop browsers, iPhone, and android phones where this doesn't happen), the ShowingDropDownEvent is fired upon rendering the view that contains the listBoxes, without user touching or clicking on them, therefore they are not showing the dropDown.

What's the iOS version on the iPad vs the version on the iPhone?

iPad has 9.1 and iPhone tested has iOS 9.2.1.
