Hey I'm going to try to start translating the C code to Python as soon as possible. I'm going to try to use the lightblue Python package since it claims to work for Linux, Windows, and Mac. However, I won't fully believe that until we get it working on all of our systems.

I'll update this thread as I get things going. Hopefully I can get rolling on this later tonight after work.
