Dear Apache Friends team,
I would like to report an accessibility issue in the Control Panel interface that affects screen reader users. When navigating through the options to activate or configure modules such as MariaDB, Apache, etc., screen readers only announce "Start" or "Config" without identifying the corresponding module. This makes it difficult or impossible to know which module is being interacted with.
For instance:
• When trying to start a specific module, the screen reader announces "Start" but does not indicate whether it refers to Apache, MariaDB, or another module.
• Similarly, when accessing configuration options, the screen reader only announces "Config" without identifying the associated module.
Currently, the only elements that can be reliably identified by screen readers are "Shell" and "Explorer."
This limitation significantly impacts the usability of the Control Panel for visually impaired users. I kindly ask the development team to address this issue by providing proper labeling or accessible descriptions for these interactive elements.
Thank you for considering this feedback, and I look forward to any updates on this matter.
Best regards,
[Ronny]
