User stories

  • As a user I want the ability to grant Cupdate access to docker compose files
  • Cupdate should then update image tag as well as the running container itself

Feature description

The only thing stopping me from implementing this into my workflow would be the ability to update the actual image tags in a docker compose file.

For now this is not covered by the scope I have intended for Cupdate. Note however that Cupdate will work for or alongside tools that modify the source compose files, or services like Watchtower that modifies running containers. There's a little bit of additional context in the README.

I'll keep this issue open to keep you posted if the scope changes.
