Since using this plugin requires AnkiConnect to be exposed on the network, it would be good to require the user to authenticate with AnkiConnect. AnkiConnect allows this by specifying an apiKey in the config file. This plugin should allow the user to specify their AnkiConnect apiKey.
I do not have time to work on this now, but I could try and implement this in a week or two.
