Research question(s)

The class looked in general about how to take behavioral and other semi-structured datasets and create semantically annotated versions of them using NIDM. But, as yet, very little of this markup has been applied to the ABCD data. Let's change that. By taking a very common behavioral assessment, the Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), and preparing the annotation methods, we can generate a representation of the CBCL data from ABCD that can then be integrated with CBCL data from other sources (HCP, HBN, etc.). The mappings for FreeSurfer anatomic measurements has already been prepared, so in this little example, we can create a sandbox for looking at the relationships of CBCL and Brain volumes that can be applied to the ABCD and other data sources.

Description

We will take the NDA data dictionary for the CBCL that is acquired in ABCD and identify the appropriate "concepts" for these data elements (from existing ontologies) and create the transformation that will express this data in NIDM. This will result in an individual ReproPond of the data that can be integrated with other data sources.

Great! Will have to work out some details soon, I guess...

I also have interest in learning more about NIDM and CBCL measures!
